KARAMAJONG TRIBAL MARCH

I happened to be in Kaabong during a Karamajong festival.  There are many different tribes in the region and they all gather in one place. This is a tribal march of one of the tribes.

LOADING THE TRUCK

One of the greatest joys is filling the storeroom at the orphanage with food. This was one of the stops.

LANDING IN KAABONG

I kept the camera rolling as the small plane lands in Kaabong. The trip is about two hours from Kampala. It was just me and the pilot. We land on a dirt road.  

ENTERING THE VILLAGE

Because this area is so remote, foreigners are seldom (if ever) seen. Watch the kids' reaction when I first arrived at this "Ik" village.
